Local group, Friends of the ABC Geelong (FABC) is part of ABC Friends (Vic) and ABC Friends National. The Geelong Friends of the ABC is a lobby group which aims to defend and promote the ABC in its vital role as Australia’s only independent broadcaster. We write to and lobby politicians, talk with the public at market stalls, make submissions and encourage members to make their views known. THE ABC IS VITAL IN OUR SOCIETY.
