UPVC

UPVC stands for Unplasticised Polyvinyl Chloride. It is a type of hard plastic which is extensively used in the manufacturing of windows and doors. 

This innovative technology provides heat insulation, safety and design at its best. Unlike traditional materials such as wood and aluminium, UPVC does not warp, rot or corrode and it doesn’t require painting or frequent maintenance. 

Much like timber, uPVC provides optimal thermal efficiency beating competitors such as aluminium in some cases by over 70%. It is even capable of achieving u-values of below 1.

Available in a range of colours and textured finishes and fire rated up to Bush Fire Attack Level (BAL) 40 in certain systems our uPVC profiles are perfect for whatever you need.

We are a small business with an aim to provide high quality, high performing uPVC products at an affordable price.

Thermosmart was established in 2010 with their first window being manufactured in the back garage of the owner’s home. It now has a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant housing advanced window systems, machinery and manufacturing techniques. Thermosmart is a highly competitive and high-performance window manufacturer across Victoria and South Australia. 

Our objective is to provide the South West, Victoria region and Eastern SA with an alternative to poor performing window and door systems. 

Research has shown poor performing systems not only affect your health and comfort, but they also affect your heating and cooling costs and have a detrimental effect on the environment and the planet. 

Our uPVC supplier Aluplast works with us to produce this innovative technology, together with our Team at Thermosmart we have a wealth of knowledge in the areas of building, carpentry, construction, window systems, glass styles and hardware, with most offering decades of experience.
