Good Cycles Geelong has a full service workshop, new bikes and cycling parts & accessories. We are an authorised Specialized stockist and run regular bike maintenance workshops suitable for all experience levels. We are, of course, also cycling enthusiasts ourselves!

As a not-for-profit social enterprise, 100% of our profit is reinvested in creating jobs and removing employment barriers affecting young people.

Good Cycles’ Youth Employment Program focuses on people’s strengths and preferences first, to deliver tailored coaching and support alongside paid employment in a range of future-focused green industries including infrastructure and asset maintenance, waste management, micro-mobility, gardening, bike retail and logistics.

Since 2013 we have provided employment pathways to more than 700 young people. In 2023, Good Cycles provided a total of 33,484 hours of paid work to 52 young people on our Youth Employment Program.

We also have a particular focus to incorporate bikes into much of our work, replacing tasks using done with utes and trucks. Across the business, on tasks such as bike path inspections and council asset maintenance, this prevents 20,000kg of CO2 entering the atmosphere by removing equivalent of 50 commercial vehicle movements from the roads per week. Our organic waste collection service in the Melbourne CBD, managed with only e-cargo bikes, diverts over a tonne of food and organic waste from landfill each day.
